Jacek Lachowicz
Pianist, songwriter, composer, experienced in working with film and advertising music.
He has collaborated with brands such as: McDonald's, Tyskie, Knorr, Nescafe and many others.
He began to gain film experience in the company of Tymon Tymański while working on the music for the film "Wesele" by W. Smarzowski. In 2005, he composed the soundtrack to the film “Oda do radości”, dir. A. Kazejak-Dawid, J. Komasy and M. Migas.
He appreciates an unconventional approach to illustrative music, focusing on complementing the image with sound. This was expressed, among other things, in the series "In Treatment" (HBO) and the feature film "Invincible" about the career of Joanna Jędrzejczyk (HBO).
He has framed TV stations such as Polsat - TV4, TVP Kultura and the Gala of Public Media Awards for TVP-Polish Radio.
Lachowicz is also a well-known figure in the alternative music community – he has collaborated with such bands as Lenny Valentino, Ścianka and Kobiety. He is also known for his musical collaboration with Ania Dąbrowska, Smolik, Maryla Rodowicz and Krzysztof Krawczyk.
He is the author of four solo albums as Lachowicz: "Jacek Lachowicz", "Za seami", "Runo" and "Pigs, joys and organs". For several years, he has also been releasing original albums with the L.A.S project - "Za lasem", "Szum", "Mieszany", "Zawieszony". He composes melodic songs that escape the typical rock arrangement, adding a lot of electronic sounds to them.
